§1 Scope of Application
These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) apply to all events, bookings and other offers of Paintball Sportfreunde Taunus e.V. (hereinafter referred to as the "Association"). They apply in particular to participation in game operations on the Association's grounds and bookings via our website. The current version of these GTC is available on the Association's website at taunus-paintball.de.
§2 Club Membership and Day Pass
Paintball Sportfreunde Taunus e.V. is a registered, non-profit association. Participation in game operations is exclusively reserved for Association members.
Guests have the option to temporarily become members through a day pass in order to participate on a game day. The day pass begins with the booking and ends when leaving the grounds on the same day. It is non-transferable.
§3 Participation Requirements
(1) Minimum Age (Regular Paintball)
Only persons aged 18 and over are permitted to participate in regular paintball game operations. Handling paintball markers is prohibited for persons under 18 years of age in accordance with § 2 of the German Weapons Act (WaffG).
(2) Minimum Age (Kids Paintball)
For kids paintball offers, the minimum age is 10 years. In justified exceptional cases, the Association may, at its sole discretion, permit participation by children from 9 years of age; this requires explicit approval by the Association staff on site.
(3) Obligation to Provide Accurate Age Information
Parents or guardians are obligated to provide truthful information about the child's age when booking. The Association is entitled to request proof of age at any time. If there is doubt about the stated age, participation may be refused without refund.
If false age information is knowingly provided and the child is subsequently injured as a result, liability rests solely with the parents or guardians. In such cases, a criminal charge for negligent bodily harm under § 229 of the German Criminal Code (StGB) may also be considered. The Association assumes no liability in such cases.
(4) Liability Waiver
Every participant must sign a liability waiver before the start of play. Without this, participation is not permitted.

For children's groups, either written consent from the legal guardian is required for each individual child, or a responsible accompanying adult assumes consent and supervision responsibility for the entire group through appropriate written declaration.
In both cases, an adult must be designated on-site who assumes full responsibility and supervision of the children's group throughout their stay. This person must be continuously present, may not leave the facility, and must not leave the group unattended.
§4 Bookings and Payment
(1) Booking Process
Bookings are made online via our website. A booking is only binding once explicitly confirmed by the club. The booking system automatically prevents overbooking. No waiting list is maintained.
(2) Payment Terms
Payment is made on-site. Currently, payment is only possible in cash. Once card payments become available, this will be announced on the club website. Bank transfer in advance is possible upon request.
(3) Invoices for Cancellation, Rebooking, and No-Show Fees
Invoices for cancellation, rebooking, or no-show fees according to § 5, as well as gift voucher invoices, are due within 7 days of the invoice date without deductions. Late payment results in default under § 286 Abs. 2 Nr. 1 BGB without separate notice. In this case, the club is entitled to charge statutory late payment interest (§ 288 Abs. 1 BGB) and claim all further damages resulting from default.
§5 Cancellation and Rebooking
(1) Cancellation by Participant
If a participant cannot attend their booked date, they must notify the club promptly and verifiably. Acceptable communication methods are:
• via the personal cancellation link included in each booking confirmation, which is active until 24 hours before game start,
• by email to info@taunus-paintball.de,
• by mail to the club's business address.
Within the last 24 hours before game start, the cancellation link is deactivated. Cancellations during this period are only possible by email or phone and are subject to the same-day cancellation fee (100%).
The cancellation deadline is met when the cancellation is received by the club. When using the cancellation link, the time of electronic confirmation counts as receipt.
Cancellation by phone, WhatsApp, Instagram DM, Facebook Messenger, or other informal channels is not sufficient and is only valid upon subsequent written confirmation

§5 Cancellation and Rebooking
(1) Cancellation by the Participant
If a participant is unable to attend the booked time slot, this must be communicated to the association
in a timely manner and in a verifiable way. Permitted communication channels are:
• via the personal cancellation link, which is included in every booking confirmation and is active until 24
hours before the game starts,
• by email to info@taunus-paintball.de,
• by letter to the association's business address.

By confirming the cancellation via the cancellation link, the participant explicitly accepts the applicable fee.
(3) Change of participant number)
Reducing the number of participants is possible up to 24 hours before the event start via the cancellation link. No fees apply. Reducing below the minimum number of participants for the booked package is not possible.
Increasing the number of participants is possible through the booking system. Availability is checked automatically and confirmed immediately if a slot is available.
(4) Rebooking)
Rebookings to another date are possible subject to availability, must be requested in writing by email, and are permitted up to 24 hours before the event start. No rebooking fees apply.
Each booking can only be rebooked once. In case of further no-show or additional changes, further rebooking is excluded. A voucher for the booking value will be issued. The invoice issued for this must be paid within 7 days (§ 4 para. 3). After payment is received, the voucher can be redeemed on a future visit.
(5) Game cancellation due to weather or force majeure)
In case of game cancellation after start: If less than half of the playing time was completed, the participant receives a voucher for the proportional booking value. If half or more was completed, there is no entitlement to a refund. Consumables are not refunded.
(6) Cancellation by the club)
The club reserves the right to cancel bookings for important reasons. Important reasons include in particular:
• insufficient number of participants,
• adverse weather conditions or force majeure,
• organizational or safety-related reasons,
• technical malfunctions or failures,
• official orders or legal requirements,
• participant's violations of these terms and conditions, even from previous visits,
• health risks, particularly in case of alcohol or drug influence,
• non-payment or incomplete payment.

(6) Cancellation by the Club)

• official orders or legal requirements,
• participant violations of these terms and conditions, even from previous visits,
• health risks, particularly under the influence of alcohol or drugs,
• non-payment or incomplete payment.

§6 Game Rules, Safety and Code of Conduct
(1) Game Rules)
All participants commit to complying with the game rules, which will be explained on-site.
Protective masks and additional equipment must be worn at all times. Personnel instructions must be followed at all times. Violations may result in immediate removal without refund.
(2) Alcohol and Drugs)
Entering the facility or participating in gameplay under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or intoxicating substances is strictly prohibited. Staff reserves the right to remove such persons from the premises without refund.
§7 Rental Equipment and Consumables
(1) Rental Equipment)
Rental players receive the equipment included in their booked package. The basic package includes a protective mask and marker. Higher-tier packages include additional equipment (e.g., gloves). Additional protective measures can be purchased for an extra fee.
(2) Paintballs and Consumables)
Unused paintballs will not be refunded. Participants may take them with them or receive a quantity voucher (e.g., 500, 1,000 rounds). Only original sealed, unopened packaging is accepted for returns.
(3) Damage to Rental Equipment)
Damage caused by willful misconduct will be charged on-site. This applies in particular to overfilling air tanks beyond 200 bar (3,000 PSI) and any misuse of equipment.
§8 Personal Equipment and Private Markers
(1) Requirements)
Private markers are only permitted if the entire group brings their own markers. Mixed operation with rental and private markers is not allowed.
(2) Legal Requirements)
Paintball markers are subject to the WaffG (§ 1 Para. 2). Their use is permitted on the secured club premises in accordance with § 12 Para. 4 No. 1 WaffG. Every marker must bear the "F in pentagon" mark of the PTB (Appendix 2, Section 2, Subsection 2, No. 1.1 WaffG) and must not exceed a muzzle energy of 7.5 joules.
(3) On-Site Inspection)
All markers will be inspected before gameplay begins. Markers set too high must be adjusted downward, otherwise their use is prohibited. Non-paintball-suitable equipment may be rejected.
(4) Liability and Consumables)
Willful damage will be charged to the responsible party on-site. This applies in particular
to overfilling pressure tanks beyond 200 bar (3,000 PSI) and any misuse
of equipment.
§8 Private Equipment and Personal Markers
(1) Requirements)
Private markers are only permitted if the entire group brings their own markers.
Mixed operation with rental and private markers is not allowed.
(2) Legal Requirements)
Paintball markers are subject to the WaffG (§ 1 para. 2). Their use is permitted pursuant to § 12 para. 4 no. 1
WaffG on the club's grounds. Every marker must bear the "F in Pentagon" mark of the PTB (Annex 2, Section 2, Subsection 2, No. 1.1 WaffG) and

§9 Barbecue Area
(1) Booking and Use)
The barbecue area is only available with explicit advance booking. The club provides grill and grates. Barbecue meat, beverages, and charcoal must be brought by the participant or booked as an add-on option.
(2) Usage Time)
Usage is limited to the booked time slot. Extensions require coordination with staff. Exception: the last game slot of the day.
(3) Cleaning and Cancellation)
The area around the grill must be left clean after use. Trash and food scraps must be removed. Grill and grates are cleaned by the club. Cancellation of barbecue booking up to 24 hours before game start via email. Late cancellation or non-use results in full barbecue fee charge (§ 4 Sec. 3).
§10 Vouchers
(1) Redemption and Transferability)
Vouchers entitle the holder to participate in the specified package. Redemption by presentation; vouchers are transferable.
(2) Monetary Value and Partial Redemption)
Vouchers have no monetary value and cannot be exchanged for cash. Partial redemption is not possible.
(3) Validity)
Validity period according to legal regulations. If the club cancels a redemption date, the voucher remains valid until actual redemption. Cash payout excluded.
§11 House Rules and Ban
(1) House Rules)
The club exercises house authority on its premises. Staff is authorized to remove persons violating these Terms, legal regulations, or safety rules without refund.
(2) House Ban)
House bans are issued verbally and documented internally. They apply from issuance for all future visits. Affected persons are registered in the club's internal system; corresponding bookings are rejected. Data storage based on Art. 6 Sec. 1 lit. f GDPR.
§12 Parking and Lost & Found
(1) Parking)
Parking lot use at own risk. The club is not liable for vehicle damage. Third parties are responsible for damages they cause.
Validity period according to statutory regulations. If the club cancels a redemption appointment, the voucher remains valid until actual redemption. Cash payout excluded.
§11 House Rules and Entry Bans
(1) House Rules
The club exercises house rules on its premises. Staff are authorized to remove persons without refund for violations of T&Cs, legal regulations, or safety rules.
(2) Entry Bans
Entry bans are issued verbally and documented internally. They apply to all future visits from the moment of issuance. Affected persons are registered in the club's internal system; corresponding bookings will be rejected. Data storage based on Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR.
§12 Parking and Lost & Found
(1) Parking
Use of parking lot at own risk. The club is not liable for vehicle damage. The person responsible bears liability for third-party damages.

person responsible is liable for any third-party damage.

Lost items are kept for four weeks and then disposed of. Collection by arrangement after contacting info@taunus-paintball.de.
§13 Photography and Video Recording
(1) Recording by the Association
The association takes photos and videos primarily of game situations with protective masks. Unidentifiable persons do not constitute personal data. Identifiable persons are recorded under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Participants are informed in the booking confirmation and by notice on-site (Article 13 GDPR).
For identifiable minors, parental consent is required (Article 6(1)(a) in conjunction with Article 8 GDPR). Objections are implemented immediately.
(2) Recording by Participants
Private recordings are permitted. Publication requires consent from all identifiable persons depicted (§ 22 KUG, Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). The association is not liable for data protection violations by individual participants.
§14 Communication and Automated Notifications
The association communicates booking-related information by email. Participants must provide a valid email address and ensure messages do not end up in spam folders. Automated reminders are sent under Article 6(1)(f) and (b) GDPR and cannot be unsubscribed from.
§15 Liability
Participation is at your own risk. The association is liable only for gross negligence or intentional breach of duty. No liability is accepted for loss or damage to private property.
§16 Data Protection
All personal data is used exclusively for processing bookings and legal documentation. Data is not shared with third parties. Further information in our data protection policy at taunus-paintball.de.
§17 Final Provisions
(1) Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
German law applies. Jurisdiction is, to the extent legally permissible, the seat of the association (District Court Königstein im Taunus). For consumers (§ 13 BGB), statutory jurisdiction rules apply.
(2) Contract Language
The contract language is exclusively German. For translations, the German version is authoritative.
(3) Right to Amend
The association may change these Terms and Conditions at any time. The current version is available at taunus-paintball.de.
Participation is at your own risk. The club is only liable for gross negligence or intentional breach of duty. The club assumes no liability for loss or damage to private property.
§16 Data Protection

The club may amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. The current version is available at taunus-paintball.de.
No "losers" are crowned at the end of the event. Instead, the focus is on recognizing and appreciating all participants for their efforts and commitment during the Team Building Paintball Cup. The event aims to strengthen team spirit and promote cooperation rather than emphasize competition. The goal is for all participants to have a positive experience and have fun together, regardless of placement.
(2) Contract Language)
The contract language is exclusively German. In the event of translations, the German version is
binding.
(3) Right to Modify)
Der Verein kann diese AGB jederzeit ändern. Die aktuelle Fassung ist auf taunus-paintball.de abrufbar.
(4) Severability Clause
Sollten einzelne Bestimmungen unwirksam sein, bleibt die Wirksamkeit der übrigen provisions shall remain unaffected.
